The star of the Horner family is Nick, who was born in July 1996 and spends each summer on the island. Nick started attending Tom Sawyer Camp in 1999, days after turning 3 years old (under the watchful eyes of his grandparents, Mike and Sally Horner and his Aunt, Sarah Horner, who are directors of Tom Sawyer Camps). Nick has a great start toward becoming a future camp director! Nick is a freshman at St. Francis High School in La Canada. Nick plays ice hockey, football and baseball, is a member of his church youth group and loves to read. He will be a Camper In Leadership Training at CIC in 2011.
Our Golden Retriever, Nikolai Khabibulin or “Boo” came to our family from a rescue organization in October 2007. Boo loves being at camp!
