At Catalina Island Camps, we bring people of all ages and backgrounds together for exceptional, immersive summer camp experiences. To that end, it is our goal to make our website accessible to everyone, including individuals with visual, hearing or cognitive disabilities. We have taken good faith efforts to ensure that our site complies with guidelines set forth by the World Wide Web Consortium’s (W3) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level A standards.

What are we doing?

We have worked closely with our digital agency to introduce WCAG standards throughout our website. We have recently reviewed our entire website to identify non-compliant elements or documents and to bring them into compliance; this included modifications to our color palette, ensuring that all images have readable alt text and that our code is adequately structured.

How are we testing?

We utilize Google’s Lighthouse Accessibility Scoring tools to evaluate our changes. As part of our compliance efforts, we have raised our Lighthouse Accessibility Scoring on all templates that are part of our core website theme.

How can you get assistance?
